Our wedding is in 1.5 months. But we are not done yet!

We went for our food tasting last Monday. The best was the cod fish!

It's actually quite a big serving. I've actually slurp down 1 large piece and I still have 1 piece!



Next yummiest must be the dessert! It's manage pudding with strawberry. Very nice combination.

I never like too much sweet stuff. But I really love this!



I would give this dish the 3rd best dish minus the almond. I hate almond and I taste it like instantly.

It's fried shrimp ball with walnut. Thumbs up!



After the food tasting we had done some adjustment to the menu. & hopefully all our guest will like the food. Especially the cod fish *drooling*

We had also finish up with our wedding invites. Like finally.

The hotel provides the cover & insert of the invites but we had to pay for printing.

After calculating the cost, we decide it would be much cost saving to print on our own. So I spent a whole night to do the layout.

Honestly, the Chinese layout is a pain in the ass. I ended up wasting almost all the 100pcs of inserts given to us cuz I'd either the words wrong, placing of names wrong etc.

So we had to go back to American Treasure, where we got our cards, to purchase more inserts. Luckily it cost $0.50/pcs and not $1/pcs. Else I'll just kill myself. Hahahaha




We had to get ribbons to tie the cover and the inserts tog so they won't fall out.



And this is our end product. My sis laugh and said 'Malay wedding'! -.- this is call unique ok. Even my evening gown also unusual color.



Have started sending out the invites! And now we have other job to be done.

Darius had been having a fever since Saturday. We always have difficulties feeding him medication whenever he's unwell cuz he will either spit it out or vomit right after.

Taken at 5.30am on Tuesday



After the fever raised to 39.1 degree at 5.30am on Tuesday, discussion with my dad, and decided to bring him to KKH.

You may ask me, why not a GP? It's his 4th day of fever. A GP is sufficient for general. But not sufficient if the doctor feels that it's necessary to do some test, like maybe blood count?

I took half day leave and left for KKH with Darius & Yati.




Upon arrival KKH, we went to the private children's clinic as I don't think it's necessary to go a&e. But they truly disgusted me with their actions.

I was there about 11am and while trying to register at the children's clinic & the conversation between me & the staff as follow:-

Me: I want to register for my son to see the dr
Staff: there's only 1 doctor today & so waiting time will b long
Me: ok can, no problem
Staff: but the dr have her own patients that have appt & as well as walk in patients
Me: uh-huh?
Staff: waiting time is really really long! Like 1-2 hours.
Me: sure
Staff: u sure u wan to wait so long?
Me: *thinking wtf* so where u wan me to go?
Staff: hmm whats the problem with your child?
Me: fever since Saturday
Staff: maybe I take his temp first cuz too high we don't accept have to go a&e. *after taking temp* 38.4. Too high. U have to go a&e.

Seriously & honestly, I feel a big part of the reason why they don't wan to accept us is cuz they wan to go for their lunch! Fcuk it.

Everything at a&e was great! Service was fast & good. And what surprise me is that when the nurse fed him med he took it willingly & never vomit. Make me really gek!!

Process to do blood test & waiting 1 hour for the result

This lil boy didn't cry at all during the blood taking procedure but suddenly burst out crying when he saw the plaster -.-



Results is normal and diagnosis with upper respiratory Tract infection.

He still have fever about once a day. Hope it stops and soon he can go back to sch (:

looking after a sick boy at 5.25am and decide to blog for a bit.

My wedding is less then 2 months away! And now my biggest problem is weight lost. Desperate till I decide to try acupuncture slimming!

Googled and saw good reviews from forum this tcm at upper changi road, bedok called shanghai TCM. Cheap cheap compare to others who ripped u off cuz they know slimming is the most common thing!

I made an appt on Thursday at 7.20pm and took the straight bus from office.

After registration was show asked to weigh myself after going to the toilet. Then asked to lie down on the bed & wait for the 医师 as it was quite crowded that day.

In the clinic there's a total of 6 beds. I was shown to mine.




The 医师 came shortly after. Just asked to show my tongue and she proceed with the acupuncture. Needles poked everywhere - tummy, both legs and arms. I counted, total 30 needles.

Thereafter I was left alone for approx 5 mins with this thing giving the warm sensation on my tummy




After 5 mins she came in, telling me that she need to use a bit of current. She tied 4 wire each on my Tummy and thigh. And it'll 'vibrate' when the current flow thru.




This only lasted for a min, then im left for the rest of the 20-30 mins with just the heat sensation.

After 20-30 mins the 医师 came in to remove the needles and did cupping on my tummy and thighs. Please ignore my fats in the below pix =x




Will continue to go back & hopefully it's effective!

the other day hubby went for his scuba diving lesson that I'd bought the deal online. I had almost half the day to myself and Darius.

Drive to united square with Darius and after walking around we went to singkids that's newly opened at B1 just beside Jack's Place.

The charges for peak period is $18 for non-member per hour.

I love this slide the most!



Overall I find singkids not bad. But I got bored very soon as its a very small place. But on weekends it's quite crowded with lotsa parents leaving their kids with helper to play while they shop. Need to really look out for bullies.

However for that amount I'm paying, I would still prefer to go to explorer kids, if only its not that far.

Went down to the bridal yesterday to see the design of our book layout as well as choosing the table top, frame and collect the edited soft copies photo.

I must say the pix are awesome! The rare pictures itself is already very pretty. Needless to say after editing.

Thou our package is expensive. But now it's definitely worth every single cents!

I have decide to create a new blog with my old URL for the time being till everything is over.

i have engaged a lawyer to help me get sole custody, care & control and denied visitation rights of Darius from my ex. therefore i had private my blog previously in order for him(or his friends) to gain access to my blog and find out stuff about Darius. afterall, you do not know if they will kidnap him or something as they wanted a large sum of money which we do not agree to give. now we are in the midst of everything, where the court clerk are trying their luck to be able to serve the writs to him as he is being uncooperative.

however i find that it is very stupid to be affected by such jerk and stop blogging. hence, i have decide to start a brand new blog for the time being and when everything is over i will merge back both blogs.

with our wedding dinner coming up. i am seriously drown with lotsa stuff. work, darius's 3rd birthday celebration, invites listing, sitting arrangement, bridal appt etc etc. i hope that i will be able to cope with everything. but of cuz, i also know that i always have hubby with me to rely on. as long as i ask, he will do it. i know i always complain about him being relax and not doing anything. but the fact is, i always like to carry everything upon myself. end up when i cant take it i will scold him =x sorry la hubby.

hubby's birthday was on last saturday and i had a surprise for him. i text his friends to meet up together for a bbq on his birthday without him knowing anything. even lying to him that we are going to Vivo for dinner etc. some pix to share and then im off back to work!
